Why was the FAME Institute created?
The FAME Institute was created by a collective of passionate specialists, instructors, alumni, business owners, and community leaders who saw the need to tackle persistent challenges such as poverty, health disparities, workforce inequities, and community empowerment.
Recognizing the importance of bridging health, entrepreneurship, and innovation, the Institute was designed to offer opportunities for both individual advancement and system-wide impact.
Today, the FAME Institute serves both:
✅ Partner organizations through Technical Assistance (TA) courses that build capacity in maternal and community health, workforce development, and health equity; and
✅ Individual clients through CHW-aligned wellness and life navigation courses that promote self-sufficiency, health literacy, and well-being.
